How I Broke My Addiction To Sugar

Less than 10 years ago, not only was I unaware that I was addicted to sugar, I didn't even realize sugar addiction existed. I remember participating in my first online program pertaining to blood sugar balance while I was getting certified as a holistic health coach and hearing that sugar is 6x more addicting than cocaine. Whoa! I then had "aha moment" after "aha moment" about how this information applied to me and my unhealthy eating habits. I am not going to go too much into those here, as I share in depth versions of my story in my online programs (Counting Colors and The Beauty of Blood Sugar Balance), but I will just say I thought I was eating all of the "right" things. I now know that since I measured health by the calories a food contained (and not by the nutrients), I was both so confused and also eating a diet primarily consisting of packaged food (because packaged foods had labels, which meant a calorie count, thereby keeping me in "control").

Learning about the nutritional science behind metabolism and our blood sugar hormones changed my life. Bold statement, but it's true. Both my physical and emotional wellbeing were suffering, and after understanding how our bodies actually metabolically processed food, I was able to make more informed choices and heal myself.

Signs & Symptoms of Blood Sugar Imbalance

I've made it my mission to not only help free women from dieting, but also spread the message of blood sugar balance. In fact I even started a natural food company centered around this philosophy in order to merge the worlds of nutrition and convenience.

My online program The Beauty of Blood Sugar Balance is another way I plan to spread the word.
